Missions at 3VC
What Do We Do?
A Missions mindset has been at the core of Three Village Church from its inception. In keeping with the Great Commission our church supports 20 missionaries and 14 missionary organizations. As a church we also provide opportunities to participate on short-term mission trips.

Meet our missions partners
3VC supports Reach Beyond (formerly HCJB Radio). They are committed to reaching refugee and unreached people groups through media and in-person ministry. Praise God for the arrival of new radio equipment for training studios in Ivory Coast. Please pray for the leadership and communications students as they use the two new studios to practice radio and production skills.
Our church has recently begun supporting Rebecca Gibbons, who is a missionary with YWAM (Youth with a Mission) based in Thailand. Rebecca is the Asia coordinator for YWAM's Discipleship Training Schools, and travels across Asia to teach and train. She also has a ministry to children at risk in the village where she lives. Please pray for these young children, most of whom live with drug abuse in their homes.
Our church recently began supporting Eve Buasri, who works with Youth With A Mission (YWAM). Raised as a Buddhist in Thailand, Eve learned about Jesus in college. She has a vision to see more Thais come to faith in Jesus. Eve is a lead teacher in YWAM's Discipleship Training School (DTS). Please pray for Eve's health and safety as she travels extensively in Asia.
Nick and Bekah Ecker are ABWE (Association of Baptists for World Evangelism) church-planting missionaries serving in Chile for over 8 years. Over the last 4 years, they have been based out of the small southern town of Rio Bueno, where they strive to foster reproducible, gospel-centered gatherings through a culture of evangelism, discipleship, and community. They currently have two church plants and a Chilean not-for-profit foundation. Their four kids, Benjamin (11), Karalyn (10), William (8), and Andrew (6) love to do ministry alongside them.

Meet Andrew and Bethany Case, who are based in Oaxaca, Mexico. They focus on language translation and teaching. Andrew and Bethany produce a unique series of YouTube videos called "Aleph with Beth," where they teach the Hebrew language. Andrew is also involved in a Wycliffe Bible translation project for the local Chatino language and will soon begin work on the Book of Numbers. They are grateful for the health of their daughter, Naomi, and their baby, Josiah. Please pray for them as they work to balance their ministry with the demands of family life.
Meet Paul Holt, who serves with InterVarsity's Student Ministry. InterVarsity's vision is to invite students to grow in faith, study God's Word, and share God's hope with others. Paul visited 3VC in October, expressing his gratitude for the warm welcome he received and the opportunity to share about his work with international students. Please pray for him in his ministry to support students who have recently returned to their home countries.
Trans World Radio has broadcast Christian media worldwide since 1954. Today, they are committed to reaching the unreached through the many channels of modern media. In Afghanistan, they have developed a series of 20 animated Bible stories called Share the Story, that takes viewers from the creation of the world to the resurrection of Jesus. The series was created with a Muslim audience and a worldview in mind. Please pray that the Holy Spirit will work among the Afghan people through Share the Story and radio programs like Sound of Life and Women of Hope.
Chris Studley, the director of Northern Frontier Camp in the Adirondacks. The camp's mission is to develop boys and men into men of God through Christ-centered wilderness camping. Chris is grateful for another year of God's provision for the camp and requests prayer for the camp and staff as they prepare for the 2025 camping season. This fall, he visited Christian colleges to find godly young men to serve as camp leaders. Please pray for the Lord’s provision to meet their staffing needs.
Meet Wally and Joan Wiley! 3VC supports Wally and Joan as they serve with Mission Aviation Fellowship (MAF) in Papua. For the past 37 years, Joan has dedicated herself to educating missionary children and has developed the Outdoor Education program for high school students. This unique initiative takes 50–60 students on a two-week service trip, providing hands-on experience in ministry and community service.
In November, Wiley’s team traveled to the remote village of Faowi, where they helped repair a vital airstrip, ministered to local children, and encouraged a missionary serving in the area. Praise God for these opportunities to make an impact! Please pray that this experience will lead to lasting spiritual transformation in the students' lives.
Sherin Eapen serves as the Conference Coordinator for InterVarsity in New York and New Jersey. She organizes two significant conferences for college students each year.
The fall retreat, Selah, impacts over 400 students, helping them learn how to center their lives around Jesus. In the spring, Basileia brings together more than 400 students for a transformative experience, allowing them to engage with Scripture, encounter Jesus, and feel empowered to live on mission back on campus.
These conferences are often pivotal moments in students' spiritual journeys. Many describe them as life-changing, and some even accept Jesus as their Savior for the first time. You can read their latest conference report here.
Our church supports Younoussa and Alphonsine Djao, who have been serving in West Africa for over 30 years. They reside in Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire. Younoussa serves as the regional director for New Generations, a ministry dedicated to discipleship training for Christian leaders. Their vision is to see Africa filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord, as stated in Habakkuk 2:14. Younoussa and Alphonsine request prayers for protection, guidance, boldness, and provision.
